The current situation

New Zealand is a country that receives every year thousands of immigrants from all over the world thanks to the diverse opportunities it gives. Being it a country of fauna and flora, the Kiwis are known for their seasonal works that permit foreigners to finance their holidays throughout the country and along their staying.

However, New Zealand is not exempted from the situation of the Covid 19 pandemic and its consequences on the economy of the world. It is actually one of the few countries that have managed best to handle the coronavirus crisis. But this management is mostly due to the strict restrictions the government has imposed on its citizens and residents, for it has closed its borders to all the international countries enclosing thus the people that have current visas in the country and blocking new ones from entering it. Since the closing of the borders, many people have been waiting for new information and solutions for their different situations. And the government has been steadily working to inform and satisfy most of them, and we consider that the country is progressingly allowing more people to enter the territory remaining vigilant altogether.

New Zealand border entry requirement :

It is necessary to remind that the entry to New Zealand from all countries remains strictly controlled with some specific conditions for some countries. In fact, the government has announced that starting from the 15th of January 2021 on 11:59 pm, a negative Covid 19 test result is required from travelers coming from USA and UK. And people coming from all over the world must complete a 14 day quarantine in managed isolation, and the necessary documentation must be presented before heading on board.

These conditions are not requested for New Zealand citizens, permanent visa holders and their families, and for diplomats holding a post in New Zealand.
